Mike is a Canadian customer who has cooperated with AAK for more than 2 years, and he has been very smooth in purchasing hydraulic valves. But in May this year, he suffered a lot in purchasing this hydraulic pressure valve. The order for a hydraulic pressure valve originally supplied by an American manufacturer, was not accepted by the manufacturer due to capacity. He contacted some Chinese hydraulic pressure valve manufacturers. To his surprise, most manufacturers offered 20% more than the original American manufacturer, and two of them were about the same price as the American manufacturer, however, the surface roughness and diameter tolerance of the hydraulic pressure valve samples were not up to standard. Mike was distressed that he couldn\'t find a substitute for the original American hydraulic pressure valve manufacturer.

According to the drawings of the hydraulic pressure valve issued by him, AAK technical team found that the processing was really exquisite. It requires that the coaxiality and roundness of the Φ8mm/Φ9mm hole should be less than 5μm, and the Φ15mm/Φ9mm orifice should be free of burrs. To guarantee coaxiality and roundness requirements of 5μm, and keep the inner wall of the hole at 0.6μm roughness, at least 50% of valves should be scrapped according to the existing processing technology. This confirms my guess that why the quotation of domestic manufacturers is 20% higher than that of American original manufacturer.

Mike was not calm after receiving the quotation of AAK hydraulic pressure valve. He repeatedly confirmed with me whether the price was wrong? The price of AAK is not only cheaper than that of domestic manufacturers, but also 30% cheaper than that of American manufacturer. I told him that this hydraulic pressure valve can only be drilled and reamed for many times by domestic peers, which not only has a long processing cycle, but also is difficult to ensure the processing accuracy. At the same time, the whole hole processing including tool change time is at least 210 seconds, and most of the tool life is less than 500 holes, which is time-consuming, money consuming, and what is worse, the qualified products are very limited. Of course, the cost is high. Mike asked me to try the sample directly. 2 weeks later, we sent the hydraulic pressure valve sample. 5 days later, Mike’s team confirmed the quality of AAK hydraulic pressure valve at one time, and the production time provided by AAK was less than half of domestic peers.

For processing this hydraulic pressure valve, we use integral cemented carbide tools, and use 3 efficient tools to replace the original 9 tools. We also use special guide strips and internal cooling design to maintain tool life and improve cutting speed and machining accuracy. The number of inner holes can be stabilized at 3000, which is 6 times that of peers. The internal leakage of the whole machine has also been reduced from 1.6 to 1.1, and the processing and tool change time has been reduced to 45s, which is only 22% of peers. Such efficient and high-quality processing is not our temporary idea, but the result of adhering to technological innovation.
